if you could get a 2002 PCM that in itself could possibly cure your problems??
my 99 pcm gave me some fits even when i was stock.. swapped to a 02 PCM no problems.

I have upgraded my old 99 pcm to a 2002 OS but never drove with it, just wanted to see if i could do the upgrade.

Winner! I loaded a 2002 OS into my 2000 PCM and had knock sensor problems. If you look at the earlier tunes vs. the later tunes, the knock sensor tables do not look anything alike. There is also presumably something different besides the calibration between the two PCMs.

I swapped over to a 2002 0411 PCM and all is well.

I'm really beginning to wonder if my 99-00 PCM is causing all my knock issues. I put the 02 OS on it and it changed nothing eventhough the knock sensor sensitivity is set to 0 from the factory on the 02 tune. Put in new sensors and harness with no change. Luckily efi live v1 comes with 2 licenses meaning I can buy a 02 PCM and tune it at no extra charge

I am almost certain that the newer OS in the older PCM is the problem. I dicked around with different knock sensor settings when I was running EFILive COS5 on my 2000 PCM. Either it would audibly knock with no indication on the scan tool, or it would show knock on the scan tool when i was sure it couldn't be knocking...

Once I swapped to my newer 0411, it seems to be happy again.
