Default Whipple/KB owners come in...

Recently I have been getting alot of questions regarding the flange I have for the intake manifold, it has crossed my mind of maybe making up some more of them if some people are interested. Now first off I have a Kenne Bell so I cannot say for sure it will work on a whipple however they are almost exactly the same. The blower outlet is slightly different in relation to the inlet of the intake manifold ( No more then 1/4") I will have to find out for sure on my buddies whipple. Just wondering who all may be interested, I cannot give any time frames to make them at this time being that I am not sure of my schedule however that can be figured out. Just wondering....

I still have the old ones i made sitting in the garage. They both have straight pipe coming out of them. I will try and get a pic tomorrow, maybe it will help you to compare the two. I used 1/2" flat stock and 1/8" x 3" aluminum pipe.

The intake on the 496 is different isnt it? I am not sure. I used 1/4 stock due to clearance issues with my setup, 1/2" doesnt leave enough room in my situation.

Yes the intake itself is different, but the throttle bodies are the same so i assumed the intake adapter, thus the template for the adapter would be the same. I might be wrong though.

Also, with 1/4" stock, didnt you get any warping when welding onto it? I saw a tiny bit of warp with the 1/2" stock, thats why im asking.
