What application were the blower pullies for that you used? There are 2 snouts for the 2.3, do you know which one you had?

Snout was the one supplied by Whipple for cathedral headed truck using the corresponding accessory drive.

If I was to do it over, I would buy a direct drive whipple with larger displacement and have nitrous bars installed. Still wish I would have tried this with the little 2.3. Man was it snappy! Lots of fun on the street.

Razor can you recall where you purchased that 8 rib pulley for the tensioner that you used?

When I went through this with whipple they told me there were 2 different snouts for that application, and only the later one was compatible with any 8 rib pulley they made since they dont normally make an 8 rib for the truck kits. I told them my serial number and they said I needed the other one ($500) on top of a new pulley ($160), so I went the custom pulley route instead (<$200). I guess you had the other snout than me.

For nitrous bars, you mean like this?

So I did contact Whipple today and they do in fact make a 8 Rib pulley for my 2009 Sierra Denali 2.3L whipple setup. The part number is SCP-83000. (3" 8-Rib).

Razor I'm thinking I want to get with the Tensioner that you listed just because then I don't have to fab a 3/4" spacer, Can you tell me where I can buy an 8 Rib pulley for the tensioner you used Dayco HD Tensioner 89393??

Exactly like that. I'd send the blower to jokerz, kong, or one of these other reputable porters and have them go to town for max air flow too.

I designed that spacer plate and had it waterjet out then sent it to nitrous express and had them to the bars. They are good up to about a 250shot and work great at the 150 level I have them right now. The blower inlet was already ported by someone when I got it. The 2.3 is small but it has some fight in it!

What's it making on the 150 shot?
