Default Whipple A2W intercooler is here!

Took delivery this morning. Components look nice and well made, beaded ends on the pipe and what not. The heat exchanger seems a little small though, but i am not familiar with what size they need to be to do their job efficiently. I will get some photo's this evening and get started on the install tomorrow..

okay gentleman, here are some pictures of the kit. I wont be using this overflow tank, I will be using a larger tank that mounts in the AUX battery location with a fuel cell cap. I also wont be using the fuel injectors that are mounted on that intake adapter, I will be capping them off like the one i have now. I will most likely be selling this overflow tank and extra injectors soon. Comments are welcome.....

lol, done and done. Does that xchanger look large enough to get the job done? I plan to mount it right behind the grill in front of the tranny cooler. Should get plenty of air there going down the road and from the clutch fan. I was going to upgrade that to a larger xchanger, but i figure i will get the system in and running first to see how it does. The intercooler core is larger than i thought it would be....about 10x16x3.

That actually looks like a pretty nice kit. From Whipple, I bet it cost a fortune. I bet that makes a world of difference not only in upper rpm power, but all around daily driving. I wish I could find a cheap solution like that for my whipple'd tahoe.
