Too big of a cam is a total waste with a small blower. You make more cam "noise", but not any more power. I have a 218/230 118 custom grind in my Maggie blown LQ4. It's my daily driver work truck. A little bit of a rough idle, but no lope and/or bad manners. I think it's an upgrade over an LS9, LS7, or gt2-3, with little or no downside. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't change the cam.

My truck ran pretty good with a Trucker cam/L33 setup.

Check the link in my sig, feel free to ask any questions.
