What are you paying for meth?

Is it me or does meth seem really expenssive lately? Did the price just go up or something? I bought 5gal yesterday and the total was $23.75. WTF? That's like $4.75/gal.
I'm wondering if I got ripped off or if its a regional thing or if wood is scarce now.

Yeah I did a google of how to make meth here at work because I was curious, but my dumbass didn't type methanol, so naturally it got flagged by MIS.

We have a huge meth problem here in Tucson so they must have been watching me.
It actually seems easy enough to make, just messy and caustic. You basically heat wood chips up to the point where they vaporize and then you capture the gas in a tube and just let it cool and condense into methanol liquid.
I don't see why the price has gone up so much. Wood is still cheap.

lucky for us up here in canada, I work in the oil patch so I just fill up a couple tanks for free when I'm on a location, there's usually a couple 500 gallon drums within a mile radius everywhere..
