Hello people, Im new to turbos and such, so what turbo would you guys reccomend for my 4.8 silverado? Would i also need to upgrade my trans? Iv'e been searching around but havn't found anything usefull.. thanks

check out either the st rear mount turbo or the livernois front mount turbo kit

 

These are the two most popular.

 

Check the STS site under customers. you will see my setup on there. also do a search of this site looking for my name and you will get some awnsers. A read mount can only take you so far with the little motor. Some day I will have to go front mount.

 

What are your goals for the truck? I'd recomend going around a 67-70mm turbo if you're going front mount.

 

Check Livernois for a quality front mount kit.
