How to ID Precision Turbos
Rotating assembly and compressor cover ID

Located on the compressor cover discharge, typically where the hose slips on, on the bottom of the discharge will be either a 4 digit and 1 letter code or the physical name of the turbo, engraved onto the cover.

Example 1: "5031E"
50 is the compressor wheel in MM
31 is the turbine wheel in MM
E is the TO4E compressor cover

Example 2: "GT35RLS"
GT35RLS is a GT35R turbo with a TO4S compressor cover

Example 3: "PT106G"
PT106 turbo with a G trim turbine wheel
Turbine Housing ID

Usually on the side of the foot of the turbine housing there will be a CNC code cut into the housing. May also be found on the face of the discharge side.

Example 1 "THF3-52"
T3 Ford style 5-bolt discharge with a .63 A/R ratio for T350 76 trim turbine wheel

Example 2 "THM3-52W"
Mitsubishi style turbine housing with a .63 A/R ratio for the T350 76 trim turbine wheel with integral wastegate and no divider wall

Example 3 "TH6876A"
T4 style turbine housing with a .68 A/R ratio cut for the 76 P-trim turbine wheel with a 3 5/8" OD V-band discharge flange
