Default What tires are you guys usuing with your boosted trucks??

Bout time for me to buy some new tires for my truck.. I currently am using the nitto 420s 305/40/22 on some Foose Speedster 6's but they are beyond dead.. I'm wanting to get something of a softer compound that will have excellent traction for dry.. Don't really drive my truck in the rain anymore since i have a daily driver now..

price is of no concern...

I actually run around on MT et street radial II- 28 x 11.5 x 17
They work real well for me. I think I paid roughly $200.00 a tire!

Haha, that's what I run at the track. Around town I use a dunlop 5000m sport that's about as hard as rocks and good for 0 traction.

General Grabber UHP's are the softest "regular street tire in the lt/suv class" that I know of. 300 tread wear which is way less then the common 400 to 450 rating. They are not drag radials but are noticeably stickier than the common 20's on the market. Not sure about the 22's though.

I don't have big power like some of you guys, but these stick well in the corners and hold my sub 400 whp without too much trouble.

For traction, your not going to find anything in a 22" tire.

I run the generals but they don't hook so good under boost. I've heard good things about the BFgoodrich KDWs
