A single is sure easier / less complicated. The payoff comes at the point where you can get the twins to spool faster and breath better than the single turbo you'd need for your goals.

As I recall, Parish's T70 twins spooled about as fast as his pte88, but I don't recall if he thought they breathed better or not (course, he was already waaaaay up there in terms of effort, so each forward step costs more and more).

The stage III 60-1s are hitting (on the 427 zo6) about where my GT70 hit (on my 408), but will push a lot more air. Seemed worth it to me, so I jumped.

For anything less than max effort, I'd do a single, unless I wanted bling and had a lot of money and time for the build.

Well the kit I'm gettin is already set up for twins, which is the only reason I'm doin it. I might look at it when I get it, and see if it would be easy to convert it to single. If not, then I'll just get some small turbos. I'm not lookin for 1000hp right now. After I dicide which way I want to go on the engine, then I'll step it up.
