Which and what size turbo?

Default Which and what size turbo?

I decided to keep my truck so I am going to be taking the mp70 turbo off and going with a bigger one. What do you guys recommend on the size and brand to go with. Only going to be running about 12psi. I was thinking just to go with another master power and the T76. I will be selling the mp70 .70 a/r turbo on here soon, whats a fair price to sell it for, only has about 5,000 miles on it.

Truck is a 2011 ECSB 4X4 5.3L 6L80E. Pretty much stock.

Depends on your goals. 76 is probably a good choice regardless.

yea if you're looking for the cheaper one i'd go the 76 magnum's if you looking for more money maybe a borg warner or precision?

Why are you going to a 76 again? The 70 will make over 600 wheel at 15psi and 500 at 10. Unless your at that point, your wasting money and time removing a other wise working 70mm.

That and the 70mm will be much better for daily driving on a mostly stock vehicle. Its going to respond quicker and should give you more torque sooner.

The 70 gets into boost too quick for me, any little bit of throttle and im getting into boost. Just don't like the boost coming in that fast on a daily driver. I know thats what alot of people want though. Also according to the dyno sheet the power falls off at about 4750 rpms. I would like a turbo that comes in a little later and pulls all the way to redline. Even Allen at Nelson Performance said it spools crazy fast. Maybe there is something else I can do to make boost come in later IDK, Im new to FI so Im sorry if I sound stupid

How bout adding an electronic boost controller, set your low boost like around 3-5 psi , then your high boost to 10-12 , so when the boost comes on " too soon" like you say, it wont be a lot and will be a better around town driver for your style.

What exhaust housing are you running? Maybe switch it out for something a little bigger.

Either a .96 or 1.00 housing would increase the spool time as well as stop the turbo from choking at 5k

Your peak power is at 4750 because you are running the stock cam (I'm assuming). A larger turbo will not fix this. It will however allow you to make the same power at a lower boost level, and your spool time will increase depending on sizing.

Your boost comes in too soon because of the tiny .70 turbine housing. Find yourself a .96 housing and that will fix your issue of boost coming in too early and allow you to drive most anywhere without loading the engine enough to spool into boost. No need to scrap your turbo yet.

A ~3K stall converter, turbo cam, and .96A/R turbine would turn your truck into a different animal both in and out of boost and give you the results you desire.
