what belt to go with ??

well been researching a lil and not sure what belt i want to go with. ive been have belt slip issues and trying to fix the problem b4 dumping 2k into a 8rib set up... let me know what you guys are running preferably with s/c set ups and what has worked for you guys ... thanks

Good call. Are you already running the newer "V-style" bracket? It moves the idler pulley closer the the head unit pulley and increases the belt wrap.
The bracket looks like this:

A second option is to run a Reichard Racing pulley. Great grip and 3.4" is a pretty common size for his Procharger pulleys.

I ran the same Goodyears belt for 20k miles (3.7" standard pulley) on a P-1SC @ 10lbs.
I went and picked up about 5 different length belts and used the belt that basically had to be pried on. I was within a 1/4" of max tension on the stock tensioner. Over time I built up a slight coating of belt dust around the pulley but boost was always rock solid at 10lbs at redline.

With the RR pulley and an HD tensioner I think you'd be good to go. I had very good results with the Gates HD belt (its solid green on the back side and ugly) on RR pulleys. I'd call Joe at leftcoast32 for your HD tensioner needs. Probably run you about $350.
