Exhaust leaks from the engine to the turbo will severly restrict boost. Make sure all it welded airtight.

No the 2006 catalog only shows the 8 11/16 filter with the extreme top (part# RX-3990-1)

The WG water issue was a common problem where ethanol or oxygenated fuels are used. STS just recently redesigned the WG tube so that it does not sit at the bottom, or moved from the 6 o'clock to 3 o'clock position. There is a thread from Feb 2006 that shows the new design. It was not too big a deal until those in the colder climates had their WG piston freeze closed . Free boost increase but bad for tuning....
OK it happened again. Oil everywhere in the intake. I checked the pump, high volume already, by jumping the contacts on the pressure switch and it is clicking to high speed. Could my turbo oil seal be bad and is it something that can be replaced?

Is it leaking into your intake while you are driving or overnight while it is sitting in your yard?

Mine leaked overnight while it was parked for a time. I called STS and they sent me a new one-way valve for the oil feed into the turbo center housing. I replaced the valve and it has been fine since. It is not likely to be the turbo and the turbo is probably fine. There are no real seals in the turbo so when the center housing fills up over half way the oil can leak by the shaft at the ends where it goes through the housings and leak into the exhaust or the compressor housings.

So if it is leaking while you are driving then the oil return pump is not taking the oil away fast enough or your return line is partially plugged or constricted. If it is leaking while it is parked then the one-way valve going into the center turbo housing needs to be replaced.

Good luck getting it working properly.
