I vote for a 572 big block, all motor! lol 800hp and 6 MPG lol. Had a 70 Chevelle with a 546 BBC on the dyno a couple weeks ago that put down 750 on motor and 950 on spray! lol

BBC would be the way to go! Blueprint crate motor, 800hp for $11k to your door. With the hyd roller lifters and mild cam they use, you can drive it anywhere without the same durability issues that fast ramping cams, heavy springs, and solid lifters have.
