right now i have the stock 78mm intake with tb would it be worth it to install the vic jr or not ? a friend of mine installed it on his 6.0 procharged and said it felt kinda slugish in 3rd compared to his stock intake

I'm thinking about changing up my intake as well. I keep reading conflicting information on the vic jr., as well as the FAST intakes. Do you think you lost any low end going with the vic jr.?

It has more low end than I can plant. If I had the chance I would use the proflo solely for looks. I kinda hate how an elbow looks on a vic jr. now. Spoolin, I'm still rocking your old Vic jr.

It served me well!
I was ready for a change and the black Pro-flo looked promising. Other than that I had no real reason to swap it out.
OP, most of the big HP# guys on tech are using Vic Jr's if they haven't gone sheet metal custom intakes. They work, does it mean it's ideal for your set-up, only you will know after trial and error.

If the fast 102mm truck mani, with a 102mm tb will pick up as much as it does na, does anyone else think it will do as well with fi. I have heard I would probably want to tear it apart, and redo the gaskets, so they don't leak under boost, but I think I would like to try it.
