Mine did that too on my way home from San Diego this weekend, and my fuel pressure was in the ******* (50 psi at WOT above 5000 RPM). I let it sit for awhile too, and it's been working fine since then. Worries me a little bit...I PM'ed BlownChevy about it, no response yet. I will let you know what he says.

Sorry about the lag time in response.....I have been swampped since I got back.
The inline pump does make some noise when it is warm outside. If you feel there is a problem you can send it in and we will test it for you and let you know.
Bryce, yours was used so there is no telling how many miles were on it before you bought it.

The noise on mine was one thing....but the lack of fuel pressure up top was another. Once it cooled down I had 64psi all the way up the RPM range. When it was hot and screaming though, I only had 50psi above 5000 rpm. Isn't that dangerous because it would make it go lean and detonate?

Could be, contact the dealer you got it from and have it warrantied. Better safe than sorry.
