Default TVS2300 build

so i have a build im going to be starting in the next month or two. I'd like to start this thread because i have plenty of questions for you guys and also to keep everyone updated with pictures as the build starts.

vehicle in question
2015 silverado crew cab short bed
6.2L l86
8L90

I already have the following mods to the truck:
1 3/4" kooks long tube headers
kooks off road Y pipe
magnaflow 3.5 -> 4'' cat back
airaid intake
efilive suite with tune by BlackBearPerformance
2.5" lift with helper airbag in the rear
285/65-18 A/t tires
aux battery with isolator


soon to be parts:
magnuson TVS2300 kit
smaller pulley (unsure of exact size as of now)
dyno tune
header wrap
lower temp thermostat

possible parts i haven't decided wheather i will do or not yet:
blower cam with appropriate valve spring
phenolic spacer for blower
water/meth



my goal is to get around 550 - 600wheel hp/ft lbs reliable. i use the truck daily. i also dont want to spend $15k so i'm not building the short block or trans.

any advice or suggestions are welcomed.

i live on long island, NY and i need a tuner. im willing to drive for someone good but within reason. any suggestions?

That power level with this new DI 6.2 will be a cake walk. Not sure who has experience tuning these new ones in the north east.

I definitely jealous of the 2300 but the whole package sounds awesome.

Not many that have 8 speeds in trucks making big power. Interested to hear how it handles it.

I know Rochester is not close but New Era Performance is a very good late model tuner and highly respected. I would think he is into them already.

New Era Performance is the only one I know of out that way, Seems to have a really good reputation too!

Infact his is a sponsor on this board.

so Mike at new era got back to me. He recommended that i go with the Whipple 2.9L blower instead. After some research it seems thats a better bet for my build and leaves me plenty of room for more later. I'll be ordering that in the next 3-4 weeks. pictures to follow

What an Idiot!!!

Kidding. The 2.9 whipple is a great blower. It has great potential. To be honest I think its a better looking blower on these trucks. I would make the same call if I had your truck.
