I wasn't going to say anything because you had already made a decision. Don't think you'll be disappointed though on a DI motor. I couldn't be happier. All my fears are out the window after driving it everyday for almost 6 months.

 

some updates. started disassembly. whipple goes in tomorrow. as you can see in the picture of the intake valve, i probably should have installed the catch can from day 1.

 

My God those intake ports are shitty. How many miles are on this thing?

 

17,000 miles. Catch can was installed at 9,000.

 

Meth injection will help keep em clean...

Damn. Thats the exact reason why I don't hook the cans back up to the intake. **** that.

 

Elite x2 or something. Has two vacuum sources with check valves. Works good. Going to talk to me tuner about Meth down the road.

 

Man this thing pulls hard now. I'm going to try and get some pictures later after work. My tuner also recommended using 100% meth injection. So I'll probably be getting an alky control kit in the fall and raising the boost a little more.
