yes the mounting flange is smaller the whole housing is smaller. which is why i want it. they make a t3/t04r and a t4/t04r. i have the t4 but i want a t3 turbine. it will bolt on but i'm not usre if i have to change the impeller or not.

I'm pretty sure you need to change the turbine wheel too (it would be weird to me if you didn't, but stranger things have happened).

A T3 will probable need an O trim wheel to go with the housing where your T4 probable has a P trim, but I'm with the others?!? Why a t-3?!?!? in a single application, it will be quite a restriction unless you want supper fast spool and not a lot of boost, in that case your beter have a larger waste gate, cuz your gona be running most of your exhaust though it.

If I have a Q-trim wheel on my T76, but a T3 housing.......can I swap a T4 housing on it?? That would suck if I'm not able to use my turbo on the 5.3.

well because its not for my tahoe. it cost so much to finish getting everything for my tahoe. like manifold then down pipe. fuel system and bla bla bla its like the list never ends. but for my car i can get everything to put this turbo on it for like $300. it already has a high flow fuel pump. i have the injectors already including the injector driver. all i need it the $89 cast iron manifold and a flange for the down pipe and i got basicly everything i need. then my 2300 pound car will fun to drive. its my daily driver for me. its too small for my family now and its paid for. so its ok if it breaks. if the tahoe breaks i'm screwed because its the only ride i have that can fit me the wife and 4 kids.
