If you want to get creative, you could take a set of stock manifolds and have someone cut and weld them in the position you want. I know someone or everyone will say you can't weld cast manifolds, but I have seen it done, it just takes a particular process most people don't want to do. You have to heat the manifolds up, basically cherry hot, weld some, let them cool and repeat several times. One of my fathers friends was (he passed away) was an excelent very experienced welder, and he took my took manifolds (previous vehicle) that broke into 2 pieces and was able to weld them back together. Do some searching at some welders around you, who knows you might be able to find someone like did.

Maybe with the stock maniflds flipped you could have someone machine you up a spacer plate to push them out a little farther and at a slight angle to get more clearance where you want it for the wires and such, you'd need two exhaust gaskets but big deal.
It would be cheaper and easier than doing logs and still flow well, get them JetHot coated to keep heat in and be done with it. Just a thought.

Thunder you may also look into the S80, the more I look at it the more I think I want it. They have the new borg-warner wheels in them which make more power AND are louder

There is an S85 too I believe. The price is just a bit more then the pt76-gts and the pt-88.

I was listening to that conversation between you and Jose. I think you may have heard wrong. Jose was saying the 76GTS and PT88 share the same housing on the compressor side and T-4 flange, but not the same downpipe flange and he I believe said the PT88 is almost 1.5" longer from intake to downpipe flange.

As for the Borg Warners, yes, they are the shiznit for sure. Jose and Jason build some bad *** stuff.

I really think the S-series may be a better option after talking to Jose today. The new Borg-Warner wheels are more aggresive, which make more power, are louder, more efficient, and make big power. They are on a t-6 flange, and Jose told me that the t-4 blanket will work it just wont cover it as well. He also said the pt-88 technology is 30+ year old turbo technology whereas the new borg-warner wheels and the s-series turbos are new cutting edge technology so Im sure you can imagine the difference in technology that is put into them. The S80 is going to be ~1600 with a coated exhaust housing.
Jose speaks the truth, the 88 is based on the TV series from Detriot Diesels, I believe Jose said the 11.7, or 12.7 liter....crap I am not that savy with all those engines....lol. I know they have been around 25+ years.

Your requirements are tough....lol. I think the TC62's would be a killer fit as well, and will be a nice mix of what you are wanting. It will support 1000+ hp and still spool nicely. Also the GT47RDBB Jose mentioned is a BAD piece. It makes nice power and spools better then the current big units, but it does have a nice price tag

This is why it is mounted backward (sorry to get off topic thunder), it is a rear mounted engine.
