Default Turbo play issue!

Guys! I want some opinions here.

My turbo has always been a bit wobbly. But it's getting worse!

Now the compressor and turbine wheels are touching the housing. With the truck idling it's even very noticeable. I can put my hand on the front of the turbo and "lift it up slightly"and the touching sound goes away.

Do your guys turbos have this issue?

It's a magnum 76mm journal bearing. On a forged 370. Pushing 10lbs of boost.

It's been on there for 17 months.

What do you guys think?

Here's a video clip of the issue. I have other vids of my truck on my YouTube page if you guys wanna see the thing.

Are the bolts that hold the center section to the turbine housing tight?

Wow that's huge. Check all turboing housing bolts.
Couple of things could cause that.
Machined housing to deep. Would have moved early into owning it.
Bolts loosened up

If turbo is running fine and bolts are tight. No damage. I would add some spacers between the center section and the clamp flanges. Making sure to stay on the inside of the turbo'ing housing lip.
So when you tighten the bolts it clamps better.

Thanks guys.

I think I'll go get some washers to use as spacers and try to put them in there on each bolt.

Perhaps I'll take the turbo off and go through everything.

Seems like a good time to look for what I believe is an exhaust leak on that side. It's above the manifold collector flange that's for sure already put a new ring in there.

Don't put washer under bolt. You will have sane result.
Washer would need to go under clamp but in turbine side only.
