Does anybody have the detroit speedworks turbo kit on there silverado?

 

 

I used to have one of the old style kits. I know twotoneblown is running one on his Escalade.

 

last I checked there were only 2 left they were selling, demand is down.

 

So if I get a front mount turbo kit from nelson and then the injectors and fuel pump I will probably have to get it dynotuned? I would really like to break 13's on the 5.3 engine!

 

You would probley preety close to your goal if its to break into the 13s. I have a detroit speedwork kit on my 03 SS and with a pretty crappy tune i ran a 13.5. I was going to take it to the track tonight with the new tune and new motor but i woke up to rain.

 

Livernois (detroit speedworks) kit is my favorite kit available. I have had 3 of the kits and have never had a problem.
