Turbo gauges?

GMCTRK, I think you pretty much nailed it and hate clutter as well. So here's what I'm going to start with wide band and a boost gauge for now. I talked to my tuner and he made a comment as well on failsafes made up in tune and said "don't worry he's got me covered".
Btw:JUST GOT MY KIT TONIGHT!!! Its xmas time. I'm going to start build thread tomarrow. Finally!!

If you want to get technical, you don't absolutely need any gauges. But if you are to get some, definitely wideband first and boost is a close second. If you get an electronic boost controller most should display boost so you don't need a separate boost gauge.
Fuel pressure is good as well, however a drop in FP will show as lean on the wideband. I have a pressure sensor on the rail so I can log it while tuning to ensure the pressure is staying up. Then when I'm not logging I just keep an eye on the wideband.
Oil temp is also good since the turbo is a nice oil heater.

You could make a custom new cluster and see how many gauges you can fit in it

Does anyone have a Zeitronix ZT-2. Here's a link.
Zeitronix Zt-2 : SEMA Award Winning Wideband Engine Datalogging System
Also check out this Display for it. I think it does everything but scratch your *** for you.

Personally i cant stand my 3 pillar pod but i like knowing what is going on with my truck. Since i drive my truck everyday having the laptop in it to monitor crap would annoy the crap out of me. Given my personality not having all those gauges would make me worry. So i deal with the stupid pillar pod for simple comfort knowing **** is working.
