I live in the La Jolla / UTC area. I have a lot of friends up in Escondido. Nice area.

On another note, I was trying to adjust my downpipe a little because at certain RPMs it was rattling against the frame. Well that went swimmingly.

That's the bolt from the Vband on the downpipe. It's my daily driver so I had to jerry rig it with some metal zip ties for right now. I am going to overnight one tomorrow.

7.3 powerstroke vband clamp works great...I snapped mine as well and wanted to source one locally. Yes they're $40 or so but all dealerships carry them and it'll get you back on the road same day.

That downpipe there appears to be the 3". When you order the kit from Trick, you'll want to specify that you'll be using a 46mm gate, otherwise the gate dump tube won't reach. I sent my downpipe back to Trick and he lengthened the gate tube for me.

Not much is new with the truck. I am currently deployed, so all the truck work will have to wait until I get back in March.

I do have some stuff I would like to do when I get back like new exhaust, meth, driveshaft and trutrac. I also just need to straighten up some stuff from the install and get a good tune on it.

Yes sir.

Well gents, came back and got the truck running after being gone for 6 months. Everything is good except the fuel pump. It's a flex fuel pump that held the pressure solid at my current boost level with no issues. Now it is dropping pressure very rapidly.

I can see two things that could have happened:

1. Somehow the tune got messed up while having a dead battery, which isn't supposed to happen but who knows.

2. The 1/5 of a tank of gas with Sta-bil gummed up and clogged the built in fuel filter in the pump module. Probably a more probable cause.

Before I swap the pump, Fctry286 is checking out the tune for me. If not I have some ideas for a Walbro 450 swap I don't think anyone has tried yet.
