Yeah, I caught it there. I am surprised with that low of boost and timing you would get any knock. It would be hard to pull much more than that out of it.

 

It sounds good! Any thoughts of adding meth?

 

Yea the gas here is just terrible. At one point it was pulling timing down to 8*.

I am definitely going to do meth. I am trying to decide which kit right now. I really like alky control but I am also interested in the snow stage 3 as well. I think with meth I can go to 10#s of boost and about 15* of timing with no issues.

 

I would agree with that. I would go alky and run a very high meth mixture. Maybe not necessarily 100% as the water helps with detonation more than straight meth when just a tad is mixed in. The catch 22 is that the meth methanol you run in the more power you can make.

Yea the only thing I am cautious about is not being able to mix the right mixture all the time. If I run 50/50 and I'm on the go I can always carry a gallon of boost juice or something...

 

ID injectors aren't quite 1000. Worth the money.

I forgot to mention it earlier but these injectors idle better than my stock injectors.

 

If you fill up before a trip you wont have to worry about running out. It lasts me a long time.

I may have missed it but why the ID1000 and not E85? What part of CA are you in? There's e85 everywhere.
