The t6 is usually used for bigger engine or higher hp applications.
T6 uses up more room, then the t4 even in a borgwarner frame.
T6 having the larger exhaust housing will flow more air, which could be laggier if the turbo is built with wheels too big.
Want to by one Frame size that expands with your future goals.

I usually only use t6
If the customer has 400+CI and races it.
Wants 1100+ Hp on a regular bases
It plans to build that bigger engine.

Being a 370 you can make either work and perform well.
It will come down to what your plans are for the truck.
Give a shout if you want and I go into more detail between all options.

Having used both pretty extensively, I can say that the benefits of T6 don't really become apparent until you are well above 1000hp or you plan on being running a good amount of boost for an extended period of time. If you want to double up as a tow rig going through mountains with 10k lbs, I'd have to recommend T6. For race only below 1200hp, T4 is a solid bet. T4 won't be as friendly to bigger camshafts, but its up to you if you want to sacrifice quick response and some high end power for some more bark. You could punch out some numbers to determine what would really be your best choice, but those are some pretty good general rules to go by.

It's not a tow rig, it's strictly a toy for the track and having fun. I also plan to keep my current converter. PI 2800 triple disk. It's 2800 or so with the blower, if I really try it will push 3000 once boost hits double digits. I don't like loose converters and this one behaves just how I like.

Then I would just add a BW S480 to feed the blower more air. If I had another blower laying around, that's what I would be doing with it. Best of both worlds! lol

I may spray some nitrous into the blower and see how it likes that. A good 75 shot should wake it up.

I have a 408ci in my truck. The s480/96 T4 and my setup spools pretty quickly. I am no expert like most of the other guys, but have had 3 or 4 different turbo setups. I think i am making around 800 awhp at 16psi according to my track times.

The main advantage that I see for a T6 with my level hp is that the turbos are considerable cheaper. I think my turbo was around $1100 from forced inductions. The same thing in a T6 was around $850.

I'm sure that trick or KB can get you setup to get exactly what you want out of it. I have used 3 different Kb kits on my truck and my other 2012 1/2ton 6.2 is going to try out a T6 kit from Trick. I'm curious to see how the kit responsed with the same turbo in a T6 vs. my built 408 with the T4 setup.

T4 S400 76mm or 80mm. You are going to be sad first time you floor it from a stop and have to wait on boost coming from a 17psi blower setup.
