the question i have is go with a sts kit a trick kit or a custom setup

STS is carb legal.

A custom set-up is not going to be. But if you don't mess with it to much it will still pass smog, but apperance it could get difficult.

ok so passing smog is no biggie for me but which one is the best do everyone like their trick kit cause im leaning towrds that one

That is like asking which woman are better blonds or brunettes. I think the only ones that would know for sure are the ones that have had both and their are some here that have.

There all good systems you just have to pick what you want from them. I have a STS that I have not installed on the Silvy yet if you want to take a look at it.

BTW, you have a hook up for passing smog here in the Rupublic of Kalifornia?

Custom kits can cost as much as you want to spend. It really depends on what you want done. Aneodizing, chroming, plating, powder coatings, all these things can add serious coin to a build. And if its a twin that just added a little more.
