Stock cam and springs? It's probable floating the valves at that boost level or it has no timing in it.

I'd turn the boost down, lean it out to 11.2-11.5 and put a little timing in it.

I kinda wondered the same when i had my truck tuned.same motor e85 s475 17lbs th400 and just over 500 to the tire but i have big and heavy wheels and tires.

Ok, contacted my tuner and he will adjust AFR. As far as timing, I'm at 12 degrees total, how high should I go?

Def think u are floating the valves. Do a cam swap w springs.

Ok then cam and spring swap it is. Any cam
and spring suggestion??? I am a Lead Technician at
a Chevrolet dealership so any parts that are GM, I can get
a great deal on..

Can you find out if you were getting any knock retard at all? Even on 12 degrees timing. And if you did have KR at low timing...what rpm was it at.

I'm trying to diagnose some KR I have and wondering if im floating the springs.

I'm just wanting to see if you have kr as well.

I thought when you get over like 10 lbs you go to speed density and dont use a mass air flow anymore?
