Default TrickPerformanceProducts NEW R&D truck/ UPDATED 09/11/07

Over the last few years we have always used my personal daily driver vehicles to develope new products. This no longer works seeing how down time kills my happy happy joy joy of driving my trucks. lol
So we purchased a 2000 short bed with the 5.3L to be the R&D platform. WE are committed to delevoping new products for these trucks. Single and *Twin turbo set ups are just one part. Air/Air intercoolers, water to air intercoolers, Watermeth tanks, kits, AC coolers, electric fan kits, and lots of electronics like the Black Series Display Controllers.
We have made a deal at the local dyno shop; they are going to let me controll the dyno,
just drop in, strap it down make the pulls and leave. No waiting in line, or waiting on the operator to help.
This truck is stock stock stock.
Dynoing it this week to get a true base number
Install the electric fans, and exhaust
INTRO kit install NEXT week,

Then start the designing all the true bolt on parts. WE strongly believe in making parts that fit the bill, with NO or very little modding of the stock platform. Very little modding means no one else could tell you did it. if you return to stock!
Anyway here are a few pics of the new dyno truck. Still working on a name for it.
*twin kit has not been finalized for productioin and is still in the kicking around stages.

You should make LT headers in 1 7/8 primaries no one makes them for us stroker/blown guys. I believe there is a decent market for them and if they have the same quality as your turbo kits they should sell well.

Dyno'd today. All'I can say is WOW the trucks power was just so down, in my opinion. Not sure what all others do. But we made several pulls, different ways, and still came up with the same numbers. This truck is so Stock.lol
So we have our base to work from.
Next is the Trick Electric fan install, some lube changes, and maybe an air filter.

I think I was at the shop a total of 20 minutes. Thanks to Tommy and the Auto Shop..
