I wonder if they are better at responding to emails? I still have not got an answer as to whether or not its safe to drive my truck with the base tune they sent me having an error code. Now its sitting another week. Also they are out of town now until the 3rd.

What codes are you getting? 99% of codes you can drive just fine. I mean you should avoid going into boost until you can get a wideband on it or get it on a dyno.

$06FF Was the code. He said it was probably because a diablo was use to tune the truck before. He did say not to go into boost until I sent him some data logs.

That's not an OBD2 code, what does your regular OBD2 code scanner say?

No codes when I download the base tune he sent the autocal says error $06FF. Not sure the tune even loaded that's why I want to make sure I can drive it or not.

I have use PatrickG for a few tunes here in installs.
A couple of trucks and the 2010 camaro we did.
Always took care of things pretty quickly.
Even if it was a response to say "I'll have it back to you tomorrow."

Correct. I drove around on a stock tune stock injectors for months one time.
No problems with drivability. Just stayed out of boost it was fine.
Another time.

Google efilive autocal $06FF. It's an efilive error code that is generated by a problem during upload. I would hazard to guess the file did not load given the error.

May be talking out of my league as I'm not fully versed, but if your ECM still had a Diablo sport tune in it, the EFI LIVE Autocal probably can't write over it. Would think you have to be flashed back to your original stock tune file and then upload the Blackbear tune.

Its worth a shot but i am unsure what the stock file might be at this point. It was originally a previous EFI tune from a friend so if its still there it should work. I tried it before I left work but it said voltage was to low. Truck is on the charger and i will give it a shot tomorrow. Might be somthing wrong with the charging system wonder if i did something in the swap. I need to get the diablo unpaired anyway so ican sell it.
thanks again to everyone for helping.
