Might just try giving them a shout and tell them all the trouble and problems you've been having and see what they recommend I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving you a hand they're a sponsor here and I'm sure would like to to help get you fown yhe right path and possibly earn your business

Just received a new tune file from BBP. Unfortunately wife is working tonight and i have all 5 kids so can't run out to the shop and test it out . It will have to wait until tomorrow after church. Hopefully I will be enjoying a Sunday drive in my truck.

Also want to build a turbo version for it that will need tuned.

I was thinking EFI because that is what BBP is using might be easier to work with.
Thanks for all the help guy's I am letting myself get frustrated and probably taking it out on BBP a little to much.

I am in rapid city SD. Not alot of options around here when you need help with stuff like this. Thank god for the Internet!
I would still get the truck to the dyno when you can... I drive 4 hours each way to my tuner. Who is the closest to where ur at?

O2 dynamics here in rapid city but he is the one who melted my piston. Have been hearing lots of bad stuff about the guy now. To late for me. Next closest tuner is Watertown South Dakota about 350 miles from me. Thats the only other one I know of. Denver isn't much farther than that. It would be my best bet probably.

I still think that would be a fun and worthwhile trip. The combo can be safely maximized on a loaded dyno, maybe you and the gal can do a long weekend to Denver lol. Iono I've never been a fan of mail order unless it's a stock cam n/a motor with headers, a CAI, and some trans tuning on the 4L60e. I bet you there is a great tuner in Denver that would email you a turbo tune from one of his customers that would be real real close. I wish I was local I'd loan you my HPT!! It just bums me out when I hear about tuning headaches cause it can be so easy if you have the right tools/people in your court.

I'm in Denver and am building a turbo 6.2. I've heard a few good things about MAC autosport here in Denver. They claim to have tuned over 900 LS based setups...might be worth your while to give them a call.

The new tune worked truck seems to be running ok. I did some data logging and sent it to BBP. So now i just need to get some easy miles on it before I can get into boost. Hopefully I'll be able to get 500 miles over the next couple days.

Im still curious on the original tune. Justin & BBP said something like "I can see why it melted down" did he elaborate? It's a moot point now, but I'm curious if it were just crazy timing or maf calibration off or what.
