Trailblazer SS now with 2.9 whipple

The SC is a single disc 10.5" thats a little looser than mine. From looking at logs my converter is 2-300 RPM looser than Pats is, so I think you will find this converter to be in the ballpark of 4-500 RPM tighter. Still really curious to see the results and your opinion though. Not many have tried both back to back.

Mine stalls at 2750, it's a 10.5 triple disk with the tightest setup they have. My truck is also heavy as hell so.. The same converter as mine in my buddies TBSS that runs the same times stalls at around 2500. I am very pleased with mine, it's actually the same build as when I had a 65e but I just had them do the same except now for my 80e. And when I deal with Precision I prefer to only deal with Terry.

I will add that I just put a FTI 278mm (11") converter to my DD saab 9-7x with a 6.0 and the Yank PT2800 feels slightly looser than that converter does. Granted, the truck is heavier and its a smaller diameter converter. The longer gears in the 80e in first and second compared to the 65e may skew that as well, but worth noting none the less...
Pat I saw 2780 out of my converter, but I am not putting down as much power nor is my truck as heavy. I'll be interesting to look at the logs when i crank things up a little. I hope I don't find that I 'blow through' this converter...

No secret on there either. A buddy posted a video of it on the dyno.
