I contacted Yank, said that's as tight as he makes that converter (Was only offering the SC3000 and SC3200 at that point). Now I see an SC2800 who knows. But I won't be dealing with yank ever again. Wasn't a pleasant phone conversation.

Dave is planning to ditch the SC series converter in favor of the PT... if you want something tighter you need the PT2800. I can't say that would be as tight as you want it either. I have measured the converter slip with mine and it is literally exactly 2800 RPM with a 6.0 in a crew cab thats flirting with 11's, but you are making more power than I am.
I think if it does stretch out a little as I add more power it will end up being a good thing though... it'll allow more cam and everything. I will say if it stretches out to a 4000 ill be pissed lol.
