I was going to guess 633. I must have calculated for a slightly lower IAT.

Wow how did you calculate that?

Numbers seem kinda low, bought a Phoenix 2800 stall. That yank is way too loose. Like I hate it.

Was that spec'd by him for your set up?

Did you contact Dave at Yank about it being to loose?

I contacted Yank, said that's as tight as he makes that converter (Was only offering the SC3000 and SC3200 at that point). Now I see an SC2800 who knows. But I won't be dealing with yank ever again. Wasn't a pleasant phone conversation.

Thats weird you say that. Dave has always treated me really good.

How much boost did you run on the dyno?

Yea I've heard both. I guess I got him on a bad day. I explained what I had, it was too loose, flashing too high. He basically said nope that's as tight as he makes them. So instead of dealing with the issue I'll just sell it and I already bought someone else's stuff. No biggie.

I was at 14lbs of boost.

Here are two graphs. What's all your opinion? Numbers sound about right?

Dave is planning to ditch the SC series converter in favor of the PT... if you want something tighter you need the PT2800. I can't say that would be as tight as you want it either. I have measured the converter slip with mine and it is literally exactly 2800 RPM with a 6.0 in a crew cab thats flirting with 11's, but you are making more power than I am.

I think if it does stretch out a little as I add more power it will end up being a good thing though... it'll allow more cam and everything. I will say if it stretches out to a 4000 ill be pissed lol.

Doing some small changes. Should be back on the dyno today or tomorrow.
26-2800 triple disc, back to the TPIS 102.
