Well did a few changes. BTR2 cam, and TDs 3" all stainless. Also will be getting a complete new tune. I'll post results as soon as we tune it. Will be on the same dyno. But here are some pics of the exhaust work. Also got my hands on a jackshaft 2300 that later this year will be getting installed. That way I can have some back to back comparison on both blowers.

Yea it's a Brian tooley stage 2 blower cam. I'll take video after the tune. Seems like with the changes the idle is a little higher.

Looks good. I have the same cam in my 6.0 with 2.9. I hope to be getting on the dyno soon as well.

Who did your exhaust work?

Thanks. Hopefully if things go as planned we should have some results tomorrow.

As for the exhaust, a local shop did the work. I supplied the material and he did all the fab work. Really impressed with the work and total bill.

What were the cam specs prior? What made you decide to swap cams?

It'll be interesting to see what these changes get you.

It's a cam my engine builder had installed 223/234 .610/.612 120+3. Speaking with the guys at BTR they said if they could slap me upside the head they would've. They actually were pushing for the stage 3. But I wanted a tamer sound.

Yea from what I was hearing the single 3" exhaust was strangling the TQ and top end. I can't wait for results.

It's not that much to change. The hoses, HX are already mounted. Mainly just the valley plate, blower and retune

I woulda gone for the stage 3 lol. And honestly I don't think your engine builder is that far off... maybe not ideal but its not 'wrong'.

I guess maybe it just seems like a heavy load on your wallet and not necessarily hard work... glad you're footing the bill lol.

Quite a bit of negative overlap in the first cam.

Let me know if you want to swap the 2.9 Whipple for a 2.3 Whipple!...I know a guy that will trade! (ME!!!)

Thanks for the offer but the only 2.3 I'm looking at testing out on the TBSS is the jackshaft style Maggie . Here's the new collection collecting dust in the garage.
