so if you flip the manifolds, do you have to move/lose any of the accessories, like ac or moving the alternator?

I going to be building a turbo manifold like the ones Parish built but for only a singe. Using the stock manifold on the DS and having a cross over come under the truck and into the back of the log with the turbo mounted on the other end of the log. This setup is going on a 5.3 I'm putting in my dads '72 4x4 long bed with air bags . Its being built out of schedule 10, 304 stainless pipe (about 1/8 wall). Should be pretty durable. If it works well, I may build a couple more .
Hey man... Where did you get that Alternator Relocation thing??

PM me!!

Thanks

That's cuz there's no intake on the motor Makes it look like it's higher then it is.

With a livernois style manifold on the pass. side, does anything else need to move besides the a/c line and heater hoses? Any tips on how to move the a/c line?

If the log manifold is made of thin wall exaust tubing the viberation, heat, and the weight of turbo will desrroy the manifold . is your sutup Parishes Old? I will hit a little more on this tomorrow .I have to get ready for work now .
Yeah, it is Parish's old manifold and yes it is thin walled stainless. The weight of the turbo is part of the problem for sure but stainless is just wore out from too many heat cycles and especially high-heat cycles.

I would be curious as to some more details why you dont like it. We have been working to overcome some of the shortcomings of the system. There are some things that really make a difference on it.

I just grabbed ahold and pulled mine out of the way.. The long stem of aluminum off the compressor made that area pretty easy to move, then the other end of that line was a little tricky. But was not bad. Then wrap it up with thermo sheilding and call it a day.

If you pull to far or kink the line you have to get another one, or have one make. So care should be taken in doing this.
