cant you keep most of the torque management in it. And it wont be as hard on the dive train, but also you lose power.
Anyone correct me if I am wrong.

Yep you can. I only removed about 60% and my trans lasted a whole two days before it started slipping. lol but then again my TPS is more of a on off switch.

Its a great idea to upgrade your valve springs too.
To provide longevity, there are a few very important things with any forced induction. Adequate fuel upgrades, dont let your boost overload your mods,(i.e. dont go over 5psi w/o intercooler or meth) and a very good tune.

My stock tranny only lasted 2 weeks after I installed my radix. I did lots of "demonstaration" runs, hard starts and kick downs, burned up the 2nd gear band and drum.
I wanted to get an FLT but the time frame didn't work so I got a local guy to build me a good one. No shift kit, no vetto servo. Just better bands, more cluthes and upgraded accumulators etc. Shifts like crazy, chirps in 2nd on 1/4 throttle, feels great.
But as noted above, you gotta find a balance between slip and hard shifts or s/thing is gonna break, it will either start slipping or break something.
It's a crap shoot and the nature of boost. unless you got an FLT or similiar.

What's the point of having the power if you can't use it..........
