Default Thinking of fabbing up an Intercooler!!

What all is involved in fabricating an intercooler??

Is there a certain size intercooler for our trucks...

I have a 2003 Silverado ext. cab...

I want to do intercooler and meth....

I have a person that can do the mandrel bends for me... is there really any BIG fabrication that goes into the process....

Thanks guys!!

Im guessing one pipe needs to go from the outflow side of the intercooler into the intake...

the other pipe needs to go from the supercharger to the intake part of the intercooler..

No prob, I have so much **** saved in my Favorites for just such an occasion.

I'm going to be putting a water to air system as soon as I get my cats cut off, go to the strip to see what she will do with the new nelson tune and no cats.

My project is on hold. I had to replace the transmission.

I was going to take a hole saw and drill a hole in the discharge assembly towards the firewall. Then run the intercooler piping like the livernoise kit.

Unfortunately not much progress. I'm swamped with other jobs that need to be completed first. I'm doing a full turbo build on a Honda S2000 next month but after that I'll concentrate on getting the truck after cooler kit together. In the mean time I'm also doing a Mark 8 electric fan conversion on my truck. For those that aren't familiar with these fans they move upwards of 4500cfm. I custom make aluminum fan shrouds and mount the fan after lots of trimming to the stock plastic shroud. You can see a few examples of others I've done on my website. I'll have pic up around middle of October.

I know alot of people like air to water coolers, but I would really be interested in a nice air to air intercooler for a Whipple. Just thought i'd mention it in case you can find time to work on both kinds
