I did some looking on them, looks like there about $320 or so new. Also been watching LS1tech for used ones and they don't seem to last more then a few hours in the classifieds before selling for near new price. So unless BlownChevy can hook me up with one, looks like I will be using a 78mm for now. Another member has volunteered to hook me up with an adapter plate.

That might be the price with the sensors. I paid $250.00 at my local speed shop (without sensors). My friend manages the place but I believe you can duplicate that price near you. Unless you need a new IAC motor and a TPS sensor, you can get the one I purchased.

Sounds like when HOT ROD has a spare LS7 from a leftover build, a 9" from another, & a built 4L80E lying in another corner.

As dlt76028 said, GIT-R-DONE. He did mention some on here take yrs. on their build. Just who did he mean?...
I just wanted to point out you gave this timeframe. Sounds like an interesting build, good luck.

Not to jack, but if that coating deteriorates from meth, what occurs? Does it reduce efficency or create any lasting side effects?

I saw a few threads/posts awhile back where people had issues with the rotor coating coming off with meth. I'm sure it did affect the efficiency, because the clearance would open up. Also it would probably clog the IC. I know Magnuson doesn't recommend it so....

Well, I checked on having a custom silicone made for connecting the turbo strait to the TB with a T off it for the BOV... About $75 bucks, but there would be a tooling fee and a min order of 10, so don't think that's doing to happen.

Gona start putting the 4l80e tranny in tonight, but still waiting for a couple of things for the blower install, like the bigger heat exchanger and water pump for the intercooler.

Let me now how that 4l80e fits with the crossover pipe! And if you do indeed need to shave off that ear that sticks out.

You will definitely have to shave the ear off that sticks out, any turbo kit or LT exhaust Ive seen had to have that cut off including the setups that I ran.

Is that the ear on the drivers or passenger side that needs to be cut off?
