I pulled the fuse for the Radix supplied fuel pump and the fuel pressure is still at 50psi. I then checked the fuel pump to make sure that it had power and it does so I dont know what to do now. Once I find out how to check the fuel pressure regulator I will try that.

The best way to check it is to replace it to be honest......Its hard to test this part and be sure that it is good to go. I have a sneeking feeling that is your problem.

he did say 50psi at idle. that is normal.
you need to watch the fuel presure as you drive it.
~50psi at idle
~58psi at just as the boost hits 0psi
~60+psi under boost, steady gauge, no dip as it revs to the top of a gear.

Key on engine off should be no less than 55-58 I think. I think he might want to check and see if it is loosing pressure with the key on and engine off. The adapter that Magnuson supplies is somewhat difficult to get the FPR in the first time unless you lube it up pretty good.
Thoughts?

If I remember correctly, with the key on engine off the psi is about 57 - 58psi then it dips to 50psi @ idle. Do I need to call magnason to order the fuel pressure regulator? I still think it is weird how when I pull the fuse for the fuel pump the pressure stays the same.

Mine (2000 as well) some times likes to idle at 50-53 psi, just like parish says, what's your psi at 0 boost (me 58ish) and then what's your psi at a little bit of boost (me 63+). I don't know about doing full runs to test it out, especially if your a truely lean.

Well I checked the fuel pressure on my stock '03 Silverado and it idles at 50psi aswell. I then checked mine again and with the key on engine off it starts out at 56psi and then slowly goes down to about 52-53psi with the engine still off. I am going to get a longer hose for the fuel gauge so I can tape it to my window so I can see what the fuel pressure is doing while I drive the truck. I just finished pulling the valve covers and checked for broken springs and everything looked good, I went ahead and re-adjusted the rocker arms just to be sure that was not the problem. Tomorrow my new spark plugs and wires should arrive. I will also be changing the fuel pressure regulator as Blownchevy recommended. Hopefully one of those will fix my problem?
Does anybody think that my problem could be the tune?
