I'd contact Joe at LeftCoast32 I have a 8 rib setup from him and it works amazing. He is very knowledgeable about these sort of things and Im sure he can set you in the right direction. I personally would get the HD tensioner, i broke the maggie one so I went to the HD one instead and its been good so far. get the gates HD green belt that supposedly doesn't stretch so it should be good. If you ever have a problem with your AC belt just get one that is 1inch shorter and you'll be set.

Good-luck

lining up the tensioner pulley is the crutial step for geting the belts to survive, and tightning the belt will only cause other problems. Once you get it all lined up, get rid of the idlers and you will also get rid of the "silverback" belt coating as well.

a/c delco and gates make OEM type steel idlers in 76mm and 90 mm dia.

Thnx Ray...worjking with Joe @ Leftcoast on it. Prob is the lines up everywhere except the idlers...if u look close the pass side rides the inside shoulder, drvs side opposite. I'm gonna try some washer/spacers to line it all up prop and shorten up the belt and see what gives...I'll post it when done. R/

Well...cleaned up the idlers and centered the belt, but shorter 110.4 belt (v the 112.2) was a solid 1" too short! Working with Joe to see what other options I have other than playing around with diff pulley sizes to squeeze that shorter belt on!
