How hard would it be to take a mp112 apart. Im goin to have it powder coated. Is there anything that has to be re adjusted or setup right when put back.

Ben, there are a few posts about powdercoating these things. it was highly recommended not to. I would just mask it off and paint it.

Yah they say not to. Because it keeps heat trapped inside. But they come powdercoated.

I know you have a better answer than that.

If you powdercoat the rotor housing after it has been machined you run the risk of distorting the precision bore the rotors are in. Do it at your own risk, you are looking at about 1150 bucks to fix it if its screwed up.

So id be better of using high heat paint. Theres no issue with taking the nose and j tube of right.

and that's just the housing and rotor pack...usually the way you figure out it didn't work out is throwing a bunch of junk down the intake track. $$$$$$$

You can, you should purchase some oil, molyguard, and loctite 510 for the nose. Paint it at your own risk......9 times out of 10 we get the blowers back and the 10.00 can of paint costs 500 bucks.
