Sorry, i don't buy that flowing as much as a 475.

The turbines are different as stated.

You can see on the 66 where it looks like they have taken a grinder to the edges of the turbine. Thats what I meant by clipped. If you see a 69mm wheel turbo that doesnt have the speed sensor port then it is not the sxe. Also it shouldnt have a turbine housing with it unless you purchased it that way.

Good choice of turbo! I don't think you'll have any issues spooling it. I'm curious to see what your results are.

I'm curious to see what it does too. I've got a 366 on my c10 and a sxe396 and one of Jose's sxe371 to play with too.

I think the big issue with larger displacement engines like these V8s is the shape of the compressor housing. There is a thread on LS1tech about back plate to housing clearance or something.

No, he never dyno'd the s366. We've been trying to get to the dyno with our trucks, but time is limited and street tunes are life!

Theoretically, if you have a larger/more effient waste gate, couldnt you get away with a more restrictive turbine?

Farmer logic tells me the fin design of the sxe turbine needs a smaller volume of air to spin it to a similar RPM. Therefore allowing for greater use of the wastegate, but not necessarily hurting flow.

No dyno, enough power for 4200lbs to trap 124.
