STS vs Magnacharger
#34
Kidding aside, I'm as anxious as everyone else to see Blown Chevy and Grippy run...all in fun, they both have my repect. I'm pretty new to FI but most everyone knows that the Maggie could use more top end and the STS could use more low end...just a difference in power curves. The Mag should have an advantage the shorter the run. Congrats on the kill though, like I said, it's all in fun!

What body style are both trucks? We know your's what about the other?
Both trucks 2wd?
Known mods of each truck
Lets see the break down of both time slips.
Reaction times
60ft
1/8 mile time and MPH
1/4 mile time a n MPH
All of this will help see who had the advantage where.
Details details details....we need the details

When the heat is around 100* and your hot lapping the Maggie can't hang. The magnacharged truck has twice the money in mods than I do. It has 3.73s and a locker to my G80 and 342s. He has a built trans to my tawaniese servoed 100k stocker. he has a 5.3 headers ,cam 216/224-114 Vinci ,roller rockers, thats dyno tuned by vinci to my junkyard 6.0/sts/street tuned. He has cal tracks and adjustable ranchos to my 100k w/t suspension w/homemade leaf clamps. He has 28/12.50/16 et streets to my stock 235/75/16 goodyears. Both trucks were heat soaked and having a bad day all together, but the point is my truck lost in the 60 ft and pulled to a .9 lead at the traps. Both trucks were running 5 psi!!!
I'll try and find the slip so I can post it but. This is my best description of what happened. Trust me, we both have a list of problem/excuses to whine about, but at the end of the day the STS prevailed and thats all we have to go on cause you Cali boys just talk about racing...IE, one day there will be the great sts-brian/maggie-grippy showdown
Here in the south , we run what we bring and hope we brought enough
