STS 6.0 on 235 street tires beats cammed magnacharged 5.3 with slicks in 102* heat. Don't bother calling , they're were 20 something witnesses.

It was a bad track day for me, but I did enjoy that run! YES, I have it on dvd. maybe someday I'll learn how to load it.

6.0 anything is hard to beat with a 5.3, but that would make sense to me with my limited knowledge about FI. But I Like both the STS and the Maggie alot!

 

Tell me what you want to know. If I had a dollar for everytime I was told a maggie truck will walk on me I'd have twins. The point of the post was to let people know STS is competative at the track. It was so hot and the track was greasy, our times sucked, high 13's. I'll post the slip later, but like you said, whats the point...

well, i for one would like to see full time slip data and mods on each truck.

IMO the magnacharger and the sts kits have their places, one can do better in some areas that the other cant and vice versa but both of them also excel in some of the same areas.

This is the most pointless post. You were both slow and you have a 0.7L advantage to begin with...

 

It's not really pointless. Could make for good converstaion/comparison if people didnt get thier panties in a wad. It would be better to list more details so we can all compare the two trucks in a fair way.

Maybe I'm wrong but I would expect a properly running turbo'd truck to beat a supercharged truck. So I am not surprised...or awed that you won. Maybe I've just watched Wilde Racing kick *** so much that I expect the STS to be faster on the track.
