Hope this belongs here in the FI section.
The Question that I have is:
I want to install an STS kit on my 97 Z71. The kicker is the engine is going to be out of my 98 Z28 with some minor bolton's (and rod bolts, LOL), and will be running a FLP 4L80E trans. So should I try and make the universal kit (w/ t-76), or should I try and get the f-body, or truck kit to work? I was thinking of trying the 99 and up truck/suv kit since the body is similar, but I am not sure. If there is a member from STS on the board, I hope you read this. The last thing that I want is to spend the money on the wrong setup. I also thought of making my own, but I have never fabed up a turbo kit, and want it to be right.
Any and all info is apreciated, Thanks!

No, not a bad looking setup, but the only thing like I said before is trying to limit the underhood temps. The other thing about the trick kit that I see that i like is the turbo is way up high, and with the right hood might be able to scavenge some of that heat out. Also for off road purposes since this is a Z71 after all. I will keep that in mind though. Just doing some legwork for now. I do like the affordability of yours and the STS kits too though, this is a budget build.

I've never had any under hood heat problems with mine, but I do have everything wrapped and semi-blanket/wrap on the turbo, even in the Phoenix AZ 110* summer heat. Been running like this on my truck for the last year and a half as a DD.
