Looks pretty good, I don't know which way I am going to go just yet. I am definetly going to keep all of this in mind, and depending on money, and the purpose of the truck, I will get back to you.

front mount all the way. My friend has a 97 z-71 with a 5.3, I'll look around alittle and see how much room there is.

I had originally called sts a couple years ago about a turbo kit for my 1996 with the 5.7 vortec in it. I was told I had to get the universal kit. I was quoted another 3grand to install it on top of the original purchase price. If you have the tools and room to fab it up yourself, go that way, but I don't.

If you are hellbent on going Tubo, Go with one of the front mounts ,like KB, Trick, and Synergy.

Love the trick kit, alot of guys with STS are switching to front mounts. Less lag and no oil pump to fail.
