I almost have my STS fully installed. Just need some help on where to run the "Boost Signal" Tubing. Its on the "Charge" Side of the turbo right now.. but thats only going to give me 6PSI at the turbo.. To insure 6PSI at the Intake Manifold, where do i need to connect this?
Where do i connect the Boost Gauge? "T" it in the "Boost Signal" tubing?
Also. All that garbage crankcase vent stuff that came with the kit....
I remember 01slowz71 (i think) saying something about tapping a fittin on the Vaccum side of the turbo so that it is constantly pulling vaccum on the Crankcase.. What about the PCV and all that?
Basically i dont have the instructions for the install, just tryin to get it all finished up before my Yank Converter gets here.
Thanks for any help!!!!

There's a nipple on the passenger side of the factory manifold. You break the little cap off the nipple. From there you can put your hose on it for boost gauge, WG reference etc.
As for the PCV stuff, I ditched it too and I run a crank case evac kit with a check valve style PCV valve.

You can get them from either Mr. Gasket Co. or Moroso and you stick a breather in the dirver's side valve cover and run a 3/4" line ALL the way back to the tailpipe, where I welded on the check valve and nipple. It uses the exhaust to pull a vacuum on the crank case. I was surprised at how effective it is even with all the tubing I had to run. I don't run a muffler, because your exhaust has to have very little if any back pressure for it to work.

Ok, that sounds good...
But aint the exhaust Pressurized?
What i mentioned in my first post... Wouldnt that work also? It would always have a very small amount of vaccum. And put a breather on the driver side valve cover where the PCV is?

I got the check valve style pcv and replaced the stock orifice pcv. This is on the drivers side. I then removed the hose on the passenger side that connects to the throttle body and put a small k&n breather on that and tied it up near my firewall. Then plugged the hole on the throttle body with some rubber tube and a bolt in the end and hose clamped it up tight.
