The boost comes in lower in the RPM band. It broke free a few times in the rain this morning when it would not have before. I have a Boost Valve (use google if you want to find the company, it will be the first link) It worked great for a long time. Last time I turned up the boost I never got above 5.8 PSI. I checked and the Solenoid and it was fine so I cleaned the BoostValue according to the instructions. Apparently it doesn't like getting oil on the ball and will let too much air through. Moving the boost reference should keep it from getting oily again. I have not tested it since cleaning, but nothing looked wrong with it. My next mod is to put a float in the meth tank and hook it up in series with the Solenoid so I cannot go into high boost if the Meth is low. A little safety feature that costs next to nothing. I just don't see buying a $300 boost controller when a $30 valve will do the same thing. A little more if you want the Solenoid and have the boost level selectable, but WAY under the $300 range. I have heard that some guys have modded a cheap air regulator from harbor freight for under $5 and had success. I went with the boost valve because the waste gate is blocked until the ball opens in the valve when pressure is reached. It sounds like it would build boost faster.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't hooked my line up yet but I am going to use the air hose. My meth tank has a low level float switch hooked to a L.E.D that comes on when I am low. It gives me a fair warning, I don't think I would run out quickly when it lights up. Thanks again for your input!!
