We have done them a couple of ways depending on the truck.

I have always liked that procharger IC layout and wonder why more people dont use it? you could fit a monster intercooler under there with no cutting, it would work on all years and models of trucks and it would be protected from various road debris and get plenty of airflow...thoughts?

Im going to try and position mine that way if it will fit, my I/C is quite a bit larger then that one I believe and Ill make scoop for mine most likely, just depends on how it all fits.

Seems like you already know what your gonna go with but here's my set-up, it's similar to Wilde Racing. I don't like how the piping comes into the engine bay from the turbo only to go back out to get to the FMIC, then come back in. Too many turns and kinks, I'm gonna change it when I get a chance, welding the pipes sounds like a good idea as does rerouting everything so there's less bends and redirections.

WOW! All those shiny FMIC's w/ pretty silicone elbows really put mine to shame.

What kind of IAT's over ambient are you running w/ those set ups?

Well, the other night driving down the interstate, my scangauge was showing 0* and I went into high boost (10psi) for a bit and it never went above 8*,
