Default Cold ! Cold ! Cold !!

HI GUYS
Went out for a ride this morning and it was 9* outside temp ..ambeint temp was at 19* WOW ..my truck makes 428 rwhp ..this morning it felt like 500 !!!

jump out on the highway .coming off the on ramp ..jump on the gas and it went sideways thru second and third WOW what a difference the cold wheather makes for making hosepower

Yep sure does, It was about that here this morning and broke all four of mine loose on accident because I was in a hurry.

Not only are you makeing more horse power but the cold streets Suck for traction.

Ya especially when they have a salt dusting on them When all four break loose with AWD durring a turn it gets your attention, even more so at 5am when you are half awake trying to remember how to get to work.

i love the power on a cold day but you need to be a little carefull. if your on the edge of your injectors, fuel system or maxing out your maf you might go lean on a cold day and blow it up.

It's been in the mid 20's this past week and I decided to do some logging because I was getting detonation. I found even with the motor warm, my IAT's were down in the low 50's and I was getting 9*KR at WOT
